Bob Lenz Memorial 5K Run/Walk & Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl
The event on Saturday, May 2, 2026, is a community 5K run and walk held in Clarence Hollow, New York, with the start and finish at the Clarence Hollow Farmers Market. The course is an out and back route on the Clarence-Akron Pathway. A hydration station is located at the midpoint turnaround, and light snacks plus bottled water are provided at the finish line.
The run is presented by the Clarence Hollow Association and supports the association's ongoing work, with all proceeds benefiting that organization. After the race there is a Cinco de Mayo bar crawl in the Hollow featuring drink specials at participating pubs and restaurants. All registered participants age 21 and older receive a Bar Crawl Passport that provides admission and discounts at participating establishments through midnight.
Registration is available online and at packet pickup on race day; optional race shirts are offered for an additional $15 at checkout. Fee structure is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. Plenty of free parking is available at or near the start and finish area.
Awards include gift cards for first, second, and third overall male and female finishers. Age divisions include 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older. Professional RFID timing and finish line services are provided, and results plus downloadable finisher certificates and finish line photos are available after the race. There are no refunds; organizers may postpone, reschedule, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
