Chicagoland Spring Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K : Schaumburg, IL
The event takes place in Schaumburg, Illinois on May 3, 2026. It offers multiple race distances on USATF certified courses that start on the streets of Schaumburg’s commercial district. The marathon and half marathon courses are certified and listed as Boston Marathon qualifiers. All routes are on road or paved trail.

Race amenities and services include packet mailing for a fee, pre-event packet pickup at a listed retail location in Hoffman Estates, gear check with a clear bag requirement, chip timing integrated with bibs, and multiple water stations offering water and sports drink. Marathon water stations will supply GU energy gels at select miles. Finish line provisions include Giordano’s deep dish and thin crust pizza, fresh fruit, finisher medals for every distance, and a live band. Winner medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups. Age categories begin with 10 and under and extend through 70 plus.
Additional event details note parking garage availability near Martingale Road, road closures in the immediate area on race day, availability of pacers for target times, and that dogs are not allowed while strollers are permitted for walkers and joggers only.
