Chicago Chinatown 5K

The event is organized by Project: VISION, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social services organization. Project: VISION focuses on helping youth in Chicago's Greater Chinatown community by providing tools for educational, personal, and civic development. Programs serve students in grades 6 through 12 and include tutoring, ACT and SAT preparation, career readiness workshops, leadership training, service projects, and mentorship.
Since 2003, Project: VISION reports having empowered over 20,000 underprivileged Asian American youth in Chicago through free educational and leadership programs. In the most recent year reported, the organization served 568 students and delivered over 95,000 hours of tutoring, mentorship, and career readiness services.
