Chesapeake Rotary Holly Jolly Jog Race and Fun Run
A family friendly 1 mile fun run and race along Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake, Virginia, held before the Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade. The event location is 173 Mount Pleasant Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
The course is chip timed and carries an official USTAF measurement. Runners will be corraled based on anticipated pace or finishing time to separate fields and allow competitive runners the opportunity to contend for the inaugural title.
Participants may run, jog, or walk the route amid holiday lights. Costumes such as pajamas, ugly sweaters, and other festive outfits are part of the event atmosphere. Full Santa costumes are not allowed and, for safety reasons, farm animals will not be permitted to race.
Registration options include an individual fee of $20 for the one mile event and a family registration package for $60 that covers two adults and up to six children.
