Chepstow Running Festival
The Chepstow Running Festival is a mass-participation event held within the grounds of the Chepstow Racecourse. This event supports the Dreams and Wishes Charity and offers participants the opportunity to run on a course consisting of road and gravel terrain.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- Half Marathon: A race consisting of four laps with an out-and-back section and 218m of elevation.
- 10k: A two-lap course with a total elevation gain of 92m.
- 5k: A single-lap route with 58m of elevation.
The event features a well-serviced event village with various food and drink options. Marshals are positioned throughout the course to guide runners toward the finish line. Each participant receives chip-timed results and access to free race photos following the event.
The entry includes a unique themed medal and post-race goodies provided at the finish line. Commemorative event t-shirts featuring the festival logo are also available for purchase. The organizers focus on sustainable practices during the event delivery at this iconic venue in Chepstow. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
