Ross on Wye Riverbank Run 2026
The event takes place on 6 September 2026 around Ross-on-Wye and uses the Rowing Club as Race HQ, postcode HR9 7DF. It includes chip timed races on multi terrain off road routes that follow parts of the River Wye. Routes may include grass and mud depending on weather and the event holds a full UK Athletics race licence.
Distances offered
- 10 km - chip timed, race limit 300, minimum age 15 on the day.
- 5 km - chip timed, race limit 300, minimum age 11 on the day.
- Fun Run - approximately 500 m, not chip timed, under 11s must be accompanied by an adult.
All entrants must sign up in advance as no on the day sign ups are permitted. Canicross categories are available for both 5 km and 10 km; participants must declare this at bib collection and use a canicross harness. Dogs are not permitted in mass starts.
Facilities and services include on site toilets, a water station on course and water at the finish, full medical cover, and limited parking at the Rowing Club with additional town parking nearby. There is no bag drop so personal belongings are left at entrants own risk. Every finisher in the 5 km, 10 km and Fun Run receives a finishers medal.
