Chelmsford Brew Co 10th birthday 10k trail run and hike
This one-off event is scheduled for 03 Oct 2026 at Chelmsford Brew Co, 2 Brewery Fields, Church Street, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 7LE. The event marks ten years of beer production and offers both a competitive trail run and a relaxed hike along a GPX/Strava route with a narrative backup. The route runs in the reverse direction to the annual event held in May. The TRA permit number is listed as TBC and there is a £2 levy for non TRA/EA members. Total places are 50.
Entry includes a finishers drink, a packet of crisps at the brewery and a finisher's medal. A beer festival runs over the same weekend and a supporting food truck will be available for spectators and finishers. No under 18s are permitted because alcohol is included in the finishers package.
A limited number of 2026 brewery series race T-shirts and vests will be available to purchase on the day for £20; cash or PayPal accepted. Parking near the venue is limited, so cycling, walking, hire scooters or local bus services are suggested as alternatives. A small area of the bar is available to leave bags at the participant's own risk. At the finish checkpoint a marshal will note entry time and mark race numbers; handing the race number to bar staff allows collection of the finishers drink.
Entry fees: £15 until 31 Aug 2026, then £18 to 25 Sep 2026. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
