Chautauqua Festival in the Park 5K
The Chautauqua Festival in the Park 5K is a road race held in Wytheville, Virginia, on June 27, 2026. The course starts and finishes on 4th Street in front of the Wytheville Recreation Center. Pre-registration opens April 8, 2026, and registration closes June 26, 2026. Race day registration is available on 4th Street. Entry fees are $30.00 for pre-registration and $35.00 for day-of registration.
Entrants are divided into 20 divisions by gender and age. Gender categories are male and female. Age brackets are 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-79; and 80 and over. Awards are presented to first, second and third place finishers in each age group, and to the first, second and third overall male and female finishers.
Registrants receive a Chautauqua Festival in the Park 5K tee shirt while supplies last; t-shirts are only available to those who register before June 17, 2026. Walkers and strollers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
