Event overview
Chasing Santa takes place on December 21, 2025, at Claremont Beach in Long Beach, California. The event offers multiple race distances:

The organizer describes the event as a festive, holiday-themed run along the Long Beach coast. Bibs are required to track time and should be worn on the front of the shirt. First place medals are awarded to the overall male and female winners in each distance. Race results and photos are emailed the day after the event; race photos are free.
Course and logistics
All courses are out-and-back and begin and finish at the same location near 5400 E Ocean Ave, Long Beach, CA 90803. Routes stay on the beach pedestrian path and do not leave that path. Courses are not closed to the public, so runners must remain on the pedestrian side of the path. On-course support includes two water stations, restrooms, and marked turns with chalk, signs, and flags. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag. Parking in the lot is paid at a per-hour rate and street parking is free. Early bib pick-up is available at Sports Basement Long Beach.
