Charlevoix Turkey Trot Fun Run

The Charlevoix Turkey Trot Fun Run is an untimed community run hosted by Walter Wellness offering two course options. The event starts and finishes at the Charlevoix City Marina bandshell and follows a lakeshore route that goes under the bridge to the Lake Michigan beach, proceeds down Lakeshore Drive toward the cement plant turnaround, and returns to the marina. Signs mark the one mile turnaround for the shorter distance.

Adults pay a registration fee of $15. Children 12 and under are not required to register but must run with a registered parent or guardian. Liability coverage and adult waivers accepted at adult registration extend to accompanying unregistered children.

There is no official timing for the event, so participants use personal devices if they wish to record times. Donuts and Walter Wellness goodie bags are provided at the finish. Funds raised go to Safe Haven Ministries for its soup kitchen program. Participants may bring non-perishable food items to donate to the local Charlevoix food bank.
