Event overview
The CHAMPIONS RUN takes place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Sam Houston Trail Park, 101 I-635, Irving, TX 75038. The event offers three race distances and has set entry fees that change after October 31, 2025. Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (t-shirt cutoff is December 14) and a finisher medal. Course maps for the Half, 10K, and 5K are listed as "coming soon."

Entry prices listed on the event page are $90 for the Half-Marathon, $55 for the 10K, and $45 for the 5K. Prices increase after October 31, 2025.
Registration, awards and volunteers
Age group awards are given three deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters categories are also awarded; male and female masters are 40+, and grand masters are 60+. Special awards are listed for overall, masters, and grand masters. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped; participants are advised to check results before leaving.
Volunteer roles are available and volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank you. The event also offers a rewards program where top finishers receive free or discounted entries to Run Different events in 2026 (for example, 1st overall receives free entry into every 2026 Run Different event).
