BEE THE CHANGE is a nonprofit that supports families with children who have complex medical needs by helping cover medical expenses and providing advocacy. The organization aims to help children, parents and caregivers BEE BRAVE, BEE BOLD AND BEE THE CHANGE.
The Third Annual Walk and Roll 5K is a fundraising event at Bear Creek Park, 400 Bear Creek Park Road, Keller TX 76248. The event raises money for intensive therapy, traditional therapy that may not be covered by insurance, and other specific needs not covered by insurance. The 5K covers a distance of 3.1 miles and is open to walking and running.
Family accommodations include free entry for children age 5 and under when at least one adult registers. All current Beelieve kids participate for free when a paying adult is registered. Registered participants will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal; t-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after May 19 and extra shirts will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
Race packets can be picked up in advance at Beelieve Pediatric Therapy, 10640 N Riverside Dr, Suite 200, Fort Worth TX 76244, or on site before the event. A Summer Kick Off party at the park will follow the event and will feature bounce houses, face painting, food trucks and cold treats.
