Bee the Change Walk and Roll 5K
BEE THE CHANGE is a nonprofit that supports families with medical expenses and provides advocacy for children with complex medical needs. The organization presents its fourth annual Walk and Roll 5K at Bear Creek Park, with running permitted as an option. Funds raised support intensive therapies, traditional therapies that may not be covered by insurance, and other specific needs not covered by insurance.
The event distance is 3.1 miles and takes place at Bear Creek Park in Keller, Texas. The race will be followed by a Summer Kick Off party featuring vendors, food trucks, cold treats and community fellowship. Children aged five and under may participate free with at least one adult registration. All current Beelieve kids may participate for free when a paying adult registers.
Registration opens March 31 and closes May 28; the registration fee is $30. Race packets are available for pickup on Thursday, May 28 at Beelieve Pediatric Therapy, 10640 N Riverside Dr, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76244 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm or prior to the event at Bear Creek Park. All registered participants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. T-shirt availability cannot be guaranteed for registrations after May 19; additional shirts will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
