About the race
The South Downs Way 100 is a 100-mile non-stop ultramarathon along the South Downs Way National Trail, from near Winchester to Eastbourne, England. The course runs along chalk ridgeway with rolling hills, ancient forts, villages and coastal views, about 15% road and 85% trail. Runners are supported by 12 stocked aid stations, full medical support, and a clearly marked route.
The race has a 30-hour cut-off and offers live tracking, finish-buckle awards, and a Grand Slam option. Pacers are allowed from mile 50, with drop-bags and crew access at designated points.
