Event
The South Downs Way 100® is a non-stop foot race held on 13 June 2026. The race covers 100 mile and is the 15th annual running of the event. The listed location for the event is Matterley Bowl. The race is part of the Gran Canaria World Trail Majors Series.
Course and support
The course follows the entire South Downs Way National Trail, running along the chalk ridgeway from just outside Winchester to Eastbourne. The route passes rolling hills, ancient forts, villages and views across southern England. The course is fully marked.
The event provides 12 well stocked aid stations, full medical support and a 30 hour cut-off.
Entry and limits
Entries open 12 July 2025 and close 5 June 2026. The minimum age to enter is 20 years. Entry fees are shown as £222.00 and a UKA discounted fee of £220.00. The entry list shows 312 participants registered so far. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
