Celebrate Life Survivors 5K and 1K
The 4th Annual Celebrate Life Survivors event includes a chip-timed 5K run/walk, a family-friendly 1K walk/run, and a Survivor Celebration Lap for walkers. It is presented by Texas Oncology Gulf Coast and benefits the Texas Oncology Foundation, Inc. Proceeds remain in the local Texas Oncology Gulf Coast community to support patient assistance and survivorship programs.
Registration for the 5K and 1K is tiered by date with higher fees closer to the event. The 5K registration includes chip timing, an official event T-shirt, a finisher medal, and awards. Awards will be presented to the 1st place male and 1st place female in these age groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over. The 1K is untimed and intended as a family activity; registration for the 1K includes an official event T-shirt. The Survivor Celebration Lap is a free walking-only registration; event T-shirts are available for an additional fee.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Texas Oncology Webster prior to the main event. The main event takes place on the University of Houston Clear Lake campus in Houston, TX. A team discount applies when five or more participants register together, and a T-shirt guarantee applies to registrations received by September 14, 2026.
