Vallenson’s Brewing Co 5K Beer Run
The Vallenson’s Brewing Co 5K is a community road race held in Pearland, Texas, that benefits the Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland. The event is part of The Run in Texas 5K 6-Pack Challenge and starts and finishes at Vallenson’s Brewing Co, 4081 Rice Drier Rd, Pearland, TX 77581.
Participants receive chip timing, a custom finisher glass, four 8-oz tastings of Vallenson’s beer, and an official performance fabric race T-shirt. The course is a true out-and-back route that goes down Main Street, turns right on McHard, then returns to the brewery. The event is described as walker friendly and allows strollers.
Additional event features include free race photos posted online after the race, food trucks on site for purchase, and the opportunity to win competitive awards or prizes in random drawings. Awards are given to top male and female overall and master (age 40 and up) finishers, with custom awards for the top three male and female finishers in age groups 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
