Vallenson's Brewing Co 5K Beer Run
The Vallenson's Brewing Co 5K Beer Run is scheduled for October 3, 2026, and is Event 10 in The Run in Texas 5K 6-Pack Challenge. The course starts and finishes at Vallensons Brewing Co, located at 4081 Rice Drier Rd, Pearland, TX 77581. The route is a true out-and-back: down Main Street, right on McHard, another right and back to the brewery.
The event benefits the Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland, whose mission is to partner with the City to establish premier parks, facilities and recreational programs in Pearland. The event is described as walker friendly. After the run, participants may collect a souvenir pint glass and enjoy up to four 8-oz tastings of Vallensons beer; food will be available for purchase and food trucks will be on site.
Entry includes chip timing, a custom finisher glass, four 8-oz tastings, an official performance fabric race T-shirt, and a well-marked and supported course. Free race photos will be available online after the race. Strollers are welcome. Awards will go to top overall and master (40 and up) male and female finishers, plus the top three male and female in each age group (19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up).
Packet pickup is at Vallensons Brewing Co (4–7 PM the Friday of race week; race day pickup at the brewery). Parking is free and plentiful; participants should follow pre-race parking guidance and instructions from police or volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
