Vallensons Brewing Co 5K Beer Run
The event is a 5K that starts and finishes at Vallensons Brewing Co in Pearland, Texas, and is listed as Event 10 in The Run in Texas 5K 6-Pack Challenge. The event benefits the Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland, an organization that partners with the city to develop parks, facilities and recreational programs.
Entry includes chip timing, an official performance fabric race T-shirt, a custom finisher glass, and up to four 8 oz tastings of Vallensons beer. The course is an out-and-back route that goes down Main Street, turns onto McHard, then returns to the brewery. The event is described as walker friendly and allows strollers.
Additional race services include free race photos posted online after the event, food trucks and on-site food for purchase, a well-marked and supported course, and prizes for competitive awards and random drawings. Awards are given to top male and female overall and masters 40 and up, with custom awards for the top three male and female in standard age groups from 19 and under through 70 and up.
Packet pick up is available Friday evening the week of the race at Vallensons Brewing Co and also on race day at the brewery. Parking is free and ample at the venue.
