The Tom O'Reilly Turkey Trot is a 5k road race held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Colonial Park, Franklin Township, New Jersey. This is the sixth annual running of the event. The race starts and ends in Colonial Park at the Knob Hill Pavilion (Lot C). Parking is directed to Lot B and participants are asked to use the Mettlers Road entrance to the park. The course is described as flat and fast and includes one water stop. Post-race bottled water, beverages, and snacks are provided at the Knob Hill Pavilion.
Registration, fees and awards
Pre-registration pricing follows tiered deadlines: $25 through August 31, $30 from September 1 through October 21, $35 from October 23 through November 20, with a $3 discount for RVRR/USATF members during pre-registration. Race-day registration is listed at $40 with no discounts. Register by November 1 to guarantee a race shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for those who register after November 1 or on race day. Awards are given to the first, second and third overall male and female, and to first, second and third in age groups: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 and over. Timing for posted results is provided by Compuscore. Donations may be made to the RVRR Scholarship Fund, and registrants have the option to donate at checkout.
