Route, format and provisions
The route is partially self-navigated with some signage and is largely off-road on mixed terrain. The course passes rivers, becks, Eden Valley villages, woodlands and pastures and reuses sections of the Morland Marathon route. Total ascent is given as 1,330 ft. The event includes two checkpoints that provide water and snacks. Entry includes a finishers medal and a t-shirt. Prizes include trophies for first place male, female and non-binary, and trophies for first male and female in the 50, 60 and 70 age categories.
