Montane Howgills Trail 10, 13 & 26
The Montane Howgills Trail takes place on 12 April 2026 in Sedbergh, England. The event is based at Stonehall Lane, LA10 5LJ, with the village of Sedbergh serving as the start and finish location.
Distances offered:
- 26.2 miles (full marathon)
- 13.1 miles (half marathon)
- 10 km (10K)
Entry fees are stated as £49 for the full marathon, £39 for the half marathon and £32 for the 10K. Participants must be at least 16 years of age on the day and must carry the items listed on the compulsory kit list. Entries close either when the event is full or on the Friday prior to the race at 12:00.
Included with entry are a bespoke finisher's medal, electronic timing and event photographs free to download. The marathon course includes two food stops and the half marathon includes one food stop; water is provided at the finish.
Dogs are not permitted to take part in the race but may attend as supporters at the start and finish if well behaved. Route files for the 26 and 13 mile courses are available on Strava.
