Cathy Fischer Memorial Walk and Run
This memorial walk and run takes place in North Olmsted at Sunset Memorial Park, Section 46, and benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The event offers both a short community distance and a standard 5K distance and includes participant items and age group awards.
Registration includes early bird pricing through April 14 and later price tiers. Early packet pick up is scheduled for the Friday before the event at The Gathering Place - West in Westlake. Mailed pre-registered entries have a specified received-by date.

- 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk with rolling hills
- 1 Mile Run/Walk, untimed
Timing and results use chip timing for the 5K (MyLaps BibTag); the 1 Mile is untimed. The 5K awards trophies to top overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in multiple age categories spanning youth to senior divisions. Participant items include a commemorative cap, a silicone bracelet, chip timing for the 5K, and post-race refreshments.
