The Cathy Fischer Memorial Walk and Run is a memorial event in North Olmsted, Ohio, held on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The event benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk - route includes rolling hills.
- 1 Mile Run/Walk.
Timing: the 5K uses chip timing (MyLaps BibTag); the 1 Mile is untimed.
Registration fees (early bird through April 14; higher fees apply after):
- 5K: early bird $25; later entries $30; race day $35 (credit card only).
- 1 Mile: early bird $20 ($70 family rate, maximum 4 members); later entries $25; race day $30 (credit card only).
Pre-registration by mail must be received by Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Mail entries to Hermes Sports and Events, 2425 West 11th St., Suite #2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. Early packet pick up is available at The Gathering Place - West in Westlake on the Friday before the race. Participants receive a commemorative cap, a silicone bracelet, B-Tag timing for the 5K, age group awards, and post-race refreshments.
