Castle Creek Triathlon

Logistics include chip timing with triathlon chips that must be worn from start to finish and returned at the finish; lost or unreturned chips incur a charge. Transition is located between the east and west ends of the site; the ground in transition is described as rough. There are no bike-course water stations; cyclists must self-support. Roads are restricted but not fully closed to traffic, and organizers advise riders to stay right and exercise caution.
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and requires participants to hold an annual membership or purchase a one-day membership.
