13th Annual CASA of the Northern Bluegrass Region 5K Superhero Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K Superhero Run/Walk held at Idlewild Park in Burlington, Kentucky, organized by CASA of the Northern Bluegrass Region. The program includes running and walking options and a separate kids fun run for children 12 and under.

Awards and age divisions are provided for both runners and walkers. Awards include individual overall runners for male and female, second and third overall in each gender, top performers and teams, and age-bracket awards for runners and walkers. Overall walker winners are not eligible for overall awards; walkers compete in age categories only.
Runner age divisions are Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Walker age divisions are 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Team scoring requires a minimum of three runners and is determined by the combined average of the top three finishers on each team; teams are for runners only.
Registration is available online or by mail with fee details varying by date. Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult are free. Registrants who register by August 31, 2026 are guaranteed a race shirt in their size. Packet pick-up is available at the CASA office and on race day.
