CASA of the Northern Bluegrass Region 5K Superhero Run/Walk : 13th Annual
This event takes place at Idlewild Park in Burlington, Kentucky on September 19, 2026. It features organized 5K run and walk events and separate kids races for participants age 12 and under.

Entry fees follow a tiered schedule for participants aged 13 and older: $25 through July 31, 2026, $30 from August 1 through August 31, 2026, and $35 from September 1 through race day. Children 12 and under run free when accompanied by an adult. Registrations can be completed online or by mail, and registering by August 24 is recommended to guarantee a race shirt.
Awards and team rules include awards for teams, individual overall male and female runners, second and third overall in male and female, and age-bracket awards for both runners and walkers. Overall walker winners will not receive overall awards but will be recognized in age categories. Team scoring requires a minimum of three runners and is based on the combined average of the top three finishers per team; teams are for runners only.
Additional event features include a kids fun run, professional face painting, door prizes, raffles, food and beverages.
