Jack's Forever 3 "Still Running" 5K Run/Walk
The Jack's Forever 3 "Still Running" 5K Run/Walk takes place in Bright, Indiana. This event marks the 15th and final edition of the race, which is held in memory of Jack Allan Carpenter. The event is hosted at the Bright Christian Church, located on State Line Road between Jamison Road and Sneakville Road.
Participants can choose between several movement categories based on their preference:
- 5K Run: A distance of 5 km intended for participants who plan to run or use a run-walk method.
- 5K Walk: A distance of 5 km reserved strictly for walkers.
- Sleep-in Option: A non-participation category for those who wish to support the event and foundation without attending the physical race.
The course begins and ends at the church grounds. Following the main events, a free Kid's Fun Run is held for younger participants. There is also a dedicated kids' corner featuring various games.
The race features age divisions for both male and female participants, ranging from 14 and under up to 60 and over. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners in the running and walking categories, as well as to first-place finishers in each age division. Post-race activities include an awards ceremony and refreshments for attendees.
