Event Overview
The CASA of Marion County Superhero Run is an annual community event held at the Salem Riverfront Park in Salem, Oregon. The event serves as a fundraiser for CASA of Marion County, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advocates for children in the foster care system who have experienced abuse or neglect. All proceeds from the race support the daily operations of the organization and its volunteer programs.
Participants have the choice of three distinct distances:
- 10 km running race
- 5 km running race
- 1 mile Fun Run
The event takes place along the riverfront and is designated as a kid-friendly activity. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes during their run or walk to fit the superhero theme. Registration is open to the public for a fee for the longer distances, while the one-mile fun run is offered without a registration fee. The course is situated at 200 Water Street NE, utilizing the paths within the local park environment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
