The 5K course begins at the corner of Veterans Blvd. and St. Ann St., travels east to the Riverpark Center, follows Daviess St., 4th St., Triplett St., 18th St., JR Miller Blvd., 9th St., back to Daviess St., and returns west on Veterans Blvd. to the finish at Veterans and St. Ann St.
Registration fees vary by date and age, with an early-bird fee and a standard fee; a $5 discount applies to children 13 and under. Race entry includes a long-sleeved shirt for registrations by 11-14-25. Packet pickup is available the day before at Care Net Owensboro, 425 East 18th Street, and on race day at Smothers Park.
The race is timed for award purposes. Awards include Top Overall male and female and 1st and 2nd place by division for male and female in age groups from 10 & under through 70+. The event includes a fundraising option with prizes and team recognition. Proceeds support Care Net Owensboro services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, prenatal and parenting classes, and material resources offered confidentially at no cost.
