Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory
The Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory is a timed 5K race and fun run held in Whitchurch, Cardiff on 2 May 2027. The event is organised by K & M Sports Events and runs under the rules and regulations of Welsh Athletics; official results will be posted.
The route is a closed-road loop through Whitchurch village and follows Merthyr Road, Penlline Road, Kelston Road, Heol Don, Station Road, Gabalfa Avenue, College Road, Bishops Road, Bishops Place and Church Road before returning to Merthyr Road. A temporary road closure will be in place on the section of Merthyr Road between The Plough and the Fino Lounge; a short period of rolling closure will be implemented on the anticlockwise side of the route. Road closures and traffic management are controlled by the Cardiff City Council Traffic Management Team. The course is fully marshalled and marked to national standards.
Entry information includes an entry fee of £25.00 and an age limit of 12 years and over. All participants receive a limited edition technical event T-shirt that lists the names of entrants; no finisher medal is provided. Prizes must be collected at the prize giving on race day; registration fees are final and non-refundable and entries are non-transferable.
