Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory 2027
Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory takes place on 02 May 2027 in Whitchurch Village, Cardiff. This is the 10th edition of the event and is a 5 kilometre road race held on fully closed roads. The course is marshalled and marked to national standards.
The event hosts the 2027 Welsh 5K Road Racing Championships and an Inter Area Match. Racing categories include Elite Ladies (under 16 minutes), Elite Mens (under 15 minutes) and an Open Race (16 minutes and over). Competitors must be at least 11 years old. The race is conducted under Welsh Athletics regulations and official timed results will be published. Course record times are 13:55 for men and 15:29 for women.
All entrants receive a limited edition technical race T shirt that features the names of those who enter. No finishers medal is provided. The Runners Village is located in the centre of Whitchurch Village and contains Race HQ outside the Old Barclays Bank CF14 1XQ, a start and finish gantry, bag drop, media wall, a live music stage, street food stalls and nearby cafes and pubs.
Entries are final and non transferable and registration fees are non refundable. The organisers may postpone, shorten or cancel the event in dangerous weather for safety reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
