Capernwray Mid Week Series is a triathlon and swim series held at Capernwray Dive Centre, Jackdaw Quarry, Capernwray Road, Carnforth, LA6 1AD. The series includes events on 3 June, 1 July, 5 August and 2 September 2026. Entries open 12 September 2025 and close 2 June 2026. The minimum age to enter is 15. The event organiser is T2 Events.
Format and logistics
Race formats offered include triathlon, triathlon relay (team of 3), aquathlon, aquaBike and open swims. Course distances are:
- Triathlon - 500m swim, 17.6km bike, 4.3km run
- Aquathlon - 500m swim, 4.3km run
- AquaBike - 500m swim, 17.6km bike
- Swim - 500m, 1000m, 1500m
Entry fees are: Triathlon £35; Triathlon Relay £45; Aquathlon £25; AquaBike £25; 500m Swim £10; 1000m Swim £15; 1500m Swim £20. Included for participants are free parking, water safety cover, timing, professional photographs, toilets and changing rooms. Registration location is weather dependent (upstairs in the café or outside by transition). Briefing takes place waterside 15 minutes before the race. An optional XCover refund option is available.
