Event Details
The Morecambe 10k & 5k takes place on June 7, 2026. The event starts on Station Promenade (LA4 4DB).
Race Overview
The 10 km and 5 km races start and finish on the promenade. The seaside route offers views across Morecambe Bay. The organizers note the 10 km event is popular with new runners and those seeking personal bests.
All finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers, with additional prizes for the first veteran in each category, depending on entry numbers.

Entry Fees
Entries are accepted online or on the day. On-the-day entries are cash only and are more expensive. There is a no refunds, swaps, or deferrals policy.
Online fees:
- 5 km: £10 for affiliated athletes, £12 for unaffiliated athletes, £8 for Lancaster Runner's Club members.
- 10 km: £21 for affiliated athletes, £23 for unaffiliated athletes, £17 for Lancaster Runner's Club members.
On-the-day fees (cash only):
- 5 km: £15 for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes, £10 for Lancaster Runner's Club members.
- 10 km: £25 for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes, £20 for Lancaster Runner's Club members.
