Morecambe 10km & 5k : Lancaster Race Series
The event on 7 June 2026 is organised by Lancaster Runners and holds UKA licence number 31360. Races take place on the Station Promenade, with the course starting and finishing on the Promenade and offering views across Morecambe Bay.
Two distances are offered:
- 10 km
- 5 km
A medal is awarded to all finishers. Prizes are given to the first three male and the first three female finishers. There is also a prize for the first veteran in each category depending on entry numbers. Online entry fees vary by distance and athlete status; on-the-day entries are accepted for cash only.
Online fees listed by the organiser:
- 5k affiliated athlete £10, unaffiliated athlete £12, Lancaster Runners Club £8.
- 10k affiliated athlete £24, unaffiliated athlete £25, Lancaster Runners Club £19. (Some online portals may add a small fee.)
On-the-day cash entry fees listed by the organiser:
- 5k all categories £15, Lancaster Runners Club £10.
- 10k affiliated and unaffiliated £25, Lancaster Runners Club £20.
