The 50-mile course is a road loop around the lake. The route includes flat stretches, rolling roads, and several major climbs, including Bopple Hill. The 50 km follows the final 31 miles of the 50-mile course. The race is fully supported with 11 aid stations.
Logistics and policies
Registration opened on November 28, 2025. Important registration dates include the last day to guarantee a shirt on September 25, 2026, the last day of registration on October 8, 2026, and early packet pickup on October 9, 2026. The organizers allow participant transfers and distance switching through October 8, 2026, with no fee. Deferrals to the next year are allowed through September 19, 2026, with no fee. Refunds are available through September 5, 2026; refunds include 100% of the registration fee but exclude RunSignup fees. The organizers reserve the right to cancel events for low registration and will provide a full refund or credit if that occurs.
