CanLake Ultras - Canandaigua, NY
The CanLake Ultras take place on October 10, 2026 at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY. The event centres on a 50 mile road loop around Canandaigua Lake during peak fall foliage and offers multiple entry options and support services.
The 50 mile course follows roads around the lake and features a mix of flat and rolling sections plus several major climbs, including the locally known Bopple Hill. The event is fully supported with 11 aid stations providing fuel and on-course assistance. The 50 km option covers the final 31 miles of the 50 mile route as a point-to-point course and has less overall climbing than the opening section of the full loop.

Organizers introduced a new five-person relay option in 2026 and run a single start for the 50 mile solo. Registration policy details include participant transfers and distance switching allowed through October 8, 2026 at no fee; deferrals allowed through September 19, 2026 at no fee; and refunds available through September 5, 2026 for 100% of the registration fee excluding platform fees. Volunteer provisions include a race shirt and post-race meal for all volunteers and additional rewards for aid station captains and group nonprofit volunteers.
