Event
The CanLake Ultras is scheduled for October 10, 2026, in Canandaigua, NY. The main course is a loop around Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes region. The course includes flat stretches and rolling hills and passes lake views and nearby vineyards. The event is fully supported with 11 aid stations. A 50 km option shares the final portion of the 50-mile route.

The race is based at Finger Lakes Community College, 3325 Marvin Sands Dr, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Organizers for 2026 include FarFetched Enterprises and Wolfpack Multisport. A new 5-person relay option was introduced for 2026. A solo pacer role is listed as an event option.
Logistics and registration
Registration opened 11/28/2025. Important registration dates include last day to guarantee a shirt on 09/25/2026, registration closing on 10/08/2026, and early packet pickup on 10/09/2026. Registration policies allow participant transfers and distance switching through 10/08/2026 with no fees. Deferrals to the following year are allowed through 09/19/2026. Refunds are available through 09/05/2026; refunds exclude RunSignup fees.
Volunteers
Volunteers receive a race shirt and post-race meal. Aid Station Captains and some other key positions receive free entry to a future event. Non-profit groups volunteering as a group will receive a portion of race revenue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
