Canebrake 200 Miler and 100 Miler
Canebrake takes place March 23–27, 2026 at Sweetwater Creek State Park near Atlanta, Georgia, with the event address listed as 1750 Mt Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122. Registration for the event closed on March 1, 2026.
The course is built from two looped circuits within the state park: an inner loop of about 5.5 miles and an outer loop of about 9.5 miles. Trails include compacted dirt, sections with roots and rocks, and stretches of crushed gravel. The 200 mile event has a 96 hour time limit and the 100 mile event has a 48 hour time limit.
Race operations include a sleep station, an open kitchen serving hot food, dedicated aid station access, full race staff and volunteer support. Chip timing is provided by Zen Arcade Timing, with features described as precise timing, real-time tracking, live lap counting and split displays.
