Campobello Coastal Challenge
The event takes place on August 22, 2026 on Campobello Island with start and finish at Roosevelt Campobello International Park and a section through Herring Cove Provincial Park. The race is organized jointly by the two parks and Dutch Viking Events. A portion of registration fees will be donated to the Campobello Island food bank.
The routes cross varied terrain including forested trails, rocky beaches, coastal cliffs, bog boardwalks and stands of old growth Acadian Forest. Runners will have coastal views over Passamaquoddy Bay and potential sightings of marine wildlife from the course.

- 25 km loop
- 50 km double loop
Aid stations are located at 8 km, 12.7 km and 19.3 km on the 25 km course; the 10 km course has an aid station near 5 km. Water, Skratch and assorted nutrition will be available. Course maps and route information are provided.
Race kit pick up is Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Herring Cove campground and Saturday morning from 7 am near the start area. The event does not provide cups so participants must bring their own bottle or hydration bladder. There are washroom facilities along the course and First Aid at the start and finish. There are no refunds or deferrals, no race day registrations, and dogs and strollers are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
