The 5K is a trail run around Harns Marsh with marsh-lined trails and bird habitat. The race occurs the same day as the LAMSID Wings Over Water (WOW) Festival, which includes a touch-a-truck event, a fishing derby, and vendors. Proceeds support Unite Lehigh and its work to bring community events, opportunities, and economic growth to Lehigh Acres.
Logistics, timing and awards
Entry fees listed are $27.50 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile; prices increase after November 30, 2025. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Bell Tower in Fort Myers (13499 S Cleveland Ave Ste 209) and at Harns Marsh (3399 38th Street West, Lehigh Acres); specific pickup times are provided by the organizer. The 5K is chip timed. Awards are given for overall Male and Female 1st–3rd (gun time) and for male and female age groups 0–10 through 70 plus (net chip time).
