First Horizon Family Run for Prevention
The First Horizon Family Run for Prevention is a chipped and timed 5K run and walk held on January 30, 2027 at Jaycee Park in Cape Coral, FL. The event accepts team registrations and offers a team member discount of $5. T shirts are available for the first 250 registrants; sizes are not guaranteed.
Packet pickup is available on January 29, 2027 at Fleet Feet at the Bell Tower in Fort Myers and on event day at Jaycee Park, Cape Coral. The event is stroller and pet friendly and is described as appropriate for all ages and abilities. Timing and chip services are provided by Beach Bum Timing.
Awards are given to first place male and female and three deep by male and female in these age groups: 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, and 71 and up. The largest team will receive the JOSH TROPHY.
Registration opens February 16, 2026 and closes July 5, 2026. The stated registration fee is $25. All proceeds support Drug House Odyssey, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Prevention Clubs and drug and alcohol abuse prevention in Lee County.
