First Horizon Family Run for Prevention

The First Horizon Family Run for Prevention takes place at Babcock Ranch. This chipped and timed event features a course that accommodates participants of different ages and abilities. The route is open to both strollers and pets, supporting a local non-profit organization.

Participants have the option to enter as individuals or form teams. The event includes a competitive element for groups, as the largest team is awarded the Josh Trophy. Registration includes a $5.00 discount for team members. T-shirts are provided to the first 300 registrants, though specific sizes are not guaranteed.

Professional chipping and timing services are provided by Beach Bum Timing. Awards are presented following the conclusion of the event to the first-place male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are given to the top three finishers in several age categories, ranging from 1-10 to 71 and up.

All proceeds support drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs in Lee County, including Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) clubs and the Drug House Odyssey program.
