Calderglen Family Run of Colour 2026
The Calderglen Family Run of Colour is a non competitive family event at Calderglen Country Park on 26 July 2026 organised by South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture. The route is a roughly 2 km loop on grass sections and trail paths near the children’s playpark, down to Horseshoe Falls, along the trail to Torrance Linn and back to the main lawn. Participants may complete the loop once or twice.
- One lap is approximately 2 km
- Two laps are approximately 4 km
The event is staged as a colourful walk, jog or run with coloured zones and fun obstacles along the route and a mass colour party on the main lawn. The course is not suitable for prams or buggies. Participants will start from the main lawn together unless participant numbers require waves; wave timing will be confirmed in the participants brief.
Registration opens 9 March 2026 and closes 23 July 2026. Entry fees are Adults £18, Juniors under 16 £9, Family ticket (2 adults and 2 juniors) £45. Registration on the day will take place on the main lawn.
All participants receive a white t shirt, a bag of colour powder, a finisher’s medal, a bottle of water and a snack. Parking is available in the main car park. Toilets and changing facilities are located by the playpark, in the visitor centre and the courtyard café. Photography and video may take place and images may be used by the organiser and sponsors; opt out arrangements are available on registration or on the day.
