Calderglen Family Run of Colour, 26 July 2026
Calderglen Family Run of Colour is a family-focused colour run held at Calderglen Country Park and organised by South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture. The event follows a circa 2 km route through grass sections and trail paths near the children’s playpark, down to Horseshoe Falls and along the trail to Torrance Linn before returning to the main lawn. Participants may complete the route once or twice.
The event is not competitive; no race times are recorded and no winning prizes are awarded. The course is not suitable for prams or buggies. Depending on participant numbers, starters may be released in waves; start procedures will be confirmed in the participant brief sent before the event.

- 2 km one circuit
- 4 km two circuits
All participants receive a white t-shirt, a bag of colour powder for the start, and a finisher’s medal. A bottle of water and a snack are provided at the finish. Registration is available between 9 March 2026 and 23 July 2026. On the main lawn there is a gazebo area for registration and for leaving bags. Parking is available in the main car park. Toilets are located adjacent to the playpark, within the visitor centre at the zoo entrance, and in the courtyard café.
Photography and video recording may take place during the event and images may be used by the organiser for promotional purposes. Attendees can request to opt out of close-up photography or filming during registration or on the day, and a discreet opt-out wristband can be provided.
