Calderglen Family Run of Colour - 26 July 2026
Calderglen Family Run of Colour is a family-focused, non-competitive colour run at Calderglen Country Park organised by South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture. The event takes place on 26 July 2026 and is part of the SL Race Series.
The route is a 2 km loop that runs across grass sections and trail paths near the children’s playpark, down toward Horseshoe Falls and along the trail to Torrance Linn before returning to the main lawn. Participants may complete the route once or twice:
- 2 km loop
- 4 km two laps
Along the route participants pass through different coloured zones and simple obstacles and conclude with a mass colour party on the main lawn. The event is not timed and there are no winners or prizes. The course is not suitable for prams or buggies.
Registration opens 9 March 2026 and closes 23 July 2026. Entry fees are listed for adults, juniors (under 16) and family tickets.
All participants receive a white t-shirt, a bag of colour powder for the start, a finisher’s medal, a bottle of water and a snack. Parking is available in the main car park. Toilets are located near the playpark, in the visitor centre and in the courtyard café. Bags can be left in the gazebo storage area on the main lawn. Photography and video may be taken for promotional use; opt-out arrangements are available at registration or on the day and media are retained for up to three years.
