Event Overview
The Cairn Table Hill Race is a hill running event located in East Ayrshire. The race takes participants on a 7.2 km route up Cairn Table. This is a specific hill race rather than a trail or cross-country event, and it involves traversing rough and unmarked terrain.
Course and Safety
The race route is not marked, and there is no on-course support provided during the event. Participants are expected to be self-reliant and comfortable navigating hills and uneven ground. Due to the nature of the terrain, fell shoes are required for all runners. There are no sources of drinking water available along the course.
