CACTUS MAN Triathlon, Aquabike & Duathlon
Cactus Man is the eighth annual multisport event at Tempe Arts Park in Tempe, Arizona on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The event offers Sprint and International distances for individuals and relay teams across triathlon, aquabike, and duathlon categories. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; each participant must hold an annual membership or purchase a one-day membership.
Packet pickup includes a race packet with race number, bike frame number, helmet number, wrist band, timing chip, swim cap (WHITE = International, RED = Sprint) and a long sleeve hoodie. The event is chip timed; chips are worn on the left ankle, must be returned at the finish line, and the neoprene strap should not be cut. Racer amenities include a finisher medal, post-race refreshments and awards for top three overall and age-group finishers. If Tempe Town Lake is unusable, the event will proceed as a duathlon. Run courses use loops: 5 km is one loop and 10 km is two loops. Paid parking is available at the Idea Parking Garage adjacent to Tempe Center for the Arts; the facility is automated and accepts credit/debit cards only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
