CACTUS MAN Triathlon, Aquabike & Duathlon
CACTUS MAN is a multisport event held at Tempe Arts Park on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The program includes triathlon, aquabike, and duathlon races offered in Sprint and International distances for individuals and relay teams. The 2026 edition will be the final year the event is held in Tempe; the race has been staged there since 2017.
The swim starts and finishes at Arts Park with Sprint and International courses marked by different lines. The event uses a rolling start for the swim. If Tempe Town Lake is unusable the event will proceed as a duathlon. USA Triathlon sanctions the race; participants must hold an annual membership or purchase a one day membership during registration.
Racer amenities include a long sleeve hoodie, a finisher medal, post race refreshments, and awards for top finishers. Awards are given to top overall and age group finishers plus categories such as paratriathlete, aqua bike, duathlon, Clydesdales, Athenas, and relays.
