Achmony Hill Race
The Achmony Hill Race takes place on Saturday 22 August 2026 as part of the afternoon programme of the Glenurquhart Highland Games at the Games Field in Drumnadrochit. The published course length is approximately 3.5 miles with around 700 feet of elevation gain. Much of the route can be seen from the games field, allowing friends and family to watch runners as they progress.
Entries open on 23 January 2026 and close on 20 August 2026. The entry fee is £10 and the minimum age is 17. Online entry is available through the event organiser and limited on the day entry is permitted until the afternoon.
Runners return to the arena after the race and are received as part of the games programme. The hill race is one element of the wider Glenurquhart Highland Games schedule held at the same venue on the same day.
