Butterfly Run Nanaimo
Butterfly Run Vancouver Island 2026 is a memorial walk/run held at Westwood Lake in Nanaimo on October 3, 2026.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 3 km Run/Walk
All proceeds support Butterfly Support Network and fund free programs across British Columbia, including counselling, support groups and peer support for families affected by infertility, pregnancy loss and infant loss.
Each paid registration includes a race kit and a t-shirt; registrants may choose to opt out of receiving a kit or shirt. Adult t-shirt sizes are guaranteed only if selected by September 1; late registrations cannot be guaranteed a shirt. Children under 12 register for free but must be registered; children's t-shirts can be purchased at registration for $15.00 and may not be available after September 1.
Race kit pickup is available before race day and on event day at Westwood Lake. Parking at Westwood Lake is limited. The event includes community resource tables and light refreshments after the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
