About the race
Local Goddess Run is an in-person community running event organized by Level Up Nanaimo Bootcamp at 5107 Somerset Drive, Nanaimo, BC. The event offers a virtual option so local participants can join the broader Victoria Goddess Run while supporting local causes on Vancouver Island, including local healthcare, grief support, and women’s crisis services.

Participants who register on the official Goddess Run website by January 15, 2027 will receive the official race package (shirt, bib, and medal) in time. Registration with the official Victoria Virtual Goddess Run is not required to join the local run; local participants who do not register on the official site may still take part but will not receive the official package.
The local gathering includes a raffle, a live DJ, hydration provided by a local supplement supplier, a professional photographer and videographer, facepainting and a glitter station, and sponsors from local gyms, personal trainers, and running coaches. A girly, glittery, goddess dress code is encouraged. The organizer notes the event runs for four hours and welcomes walkers, runners, children, and pets.
