Event overview

The Bastion 12K is part of the Vancouver Island Race Series and is scheduled for 22 February 2026 in Lantzville, BC at Aspengrove School (7660 Clark Dr). Race details and rules

• Registration fees are shown as a regular and a late price; fees include mandatory charges but do not include 5% GST. Online registrations incur a processing fee and entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments are in Canadian funds; major credit cards accepted.
• The event supports KidSport BC; the fundraising goal is $3,000 and $23.16 had been raised.
• These are road-running events open to runners, racewalkers, walkers, and wheelchair athletes only. Prohibited: roller blades/inline skates, strollers, and cycling except for designated official cyclists.
• No pets are allowed to accompany participants; only registered guide dogs are permitted. Visually impaired participants accompanied by an assisting runner or guide dog must start at the back of the field.
• Headphones are not permitted; wearing them while impeding another athlete, emergency response, or race officials may result in disqualification.
• Organizers will follow provincial public-health orders; proof of vaccination and mask use may be required for some indoor venues, and anyone ill must not participate.
