Fifth Annual Bushwick 5K
The Bushwick 5K is a community running event held at 455 Evergreen Ave in Brooklyn, New York. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the race, which is hosted by the Evergreen Baptist Church. The event brings together participants for a distance of 3.1 miles through the Bushwick neighborhood.

There is a specific registration category for youth participants aged 17 and younger, who may enter the event without a registration fee. These participants have the option to purchase an event t-shirt separately.
A portion of the proceeds from the event supports the Bushwick 5K Scholarship. This initiative provides financial assistance to graduating high school students who either reside in Bushwick or attend school within the neighborhood. To date, the program has distributed over $3,000 in awards to local graduates. The event is organized in collaboration with several charities and community organizations focused on health and community support.
