Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run 2026
The Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run is a community athletics event held in Jamaica, Queens. The course is USATF-certified and begins and ends at York College, specifically at the Performing Arts Center parking lot. The route is designed to highlight the commercial corridors of Downtown Jamaica and various historic landmarks located throughout the neighborhood.
Participants can choose from the following registration options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Team of 15 (for groups of 15 or more participants)
The event focuses on community fitness and physical activity. Organizers donate a portion of the net proceeds to local community or educational programs. Amenities provided for participants include a race day shirt and a finisher medal. Water stations and portable toilets are positioned along the course, and free mobile lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards are presented to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall. Age group awards are also available for those 17 and under up to 70 and over. Additionally, a company award is given to the organization with the highest number of participating employees.
