Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run 2026
The Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run takes place on September 26, 2026, in Jamaica, Queens. The event is USATF certified and uses a course that begins and ends at York College (Parking Lot of the Performing Arts Center, 94-45 Guy R. Brewer Blvd.). The route highlights Downtown Jamaica commercial corridors and historic landmarks.
All participants receive a race day T-shirt and a finisher medal. On-course amenities include water stations, portable restrooms, and free mobile lockers while supplies last. Parking is available at Midblock Garage, about three blocks from the race start, with a posted parking fee.
Awards are given to the top three overall men, women, and X category finishers, and to the top three in each age group: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. A company participation award recognizes the organization with the most entrants.
Registration options include individual entry and a team option for groups of 15 or more, which offers a reduced per-person rate when the group registers together. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Registration fees are non-refundable and are applied to event expenses. Net proceeds will be donated to a local community or educational program to be determined.
