Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run
The Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run takes place on September 26, 2026 in Jamaica, Queens. The event is a USATF-certified 5K that routes participants through Downtown Jamaica’s commercial corridors and past historic neighborhood landmarks. The start and finish are at York College (Performing Arts Center), 94-45 Guy R. Brewer Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11451.
The event promotes community connections and donates a portion of net proceeds to a local community or educational program to be determined. All participants receive a race day T-shirt and a finisher medal. On-course amenities include water stations, porta potties, and free mobile lockers while supplies last.
Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers in M/F/X categories and to the top three finishers in each age group: 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. A company award recognizes the organization with the most participants. Team registration is available for groups of 15 or more; a team of 15 is offered at a group rate.
Bib and T-shirt pickup are handled by event staff on race day. Personalized race numbers are assigned for registrants who complete registration at least three weeks before the event.
