Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run - 2026
The Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run takes place on September 26, 2026 in Jamaica, Queens at York College (Performing Arts Center). The event is a USATF-certified 5K run/walk that highlights Downtown Jamaica’s commercial corridors and historic landmarks and is framed as a community-focused day of fitness and activity.
The course starts and finishes at the York College parking lot by the Performing Arts Center. All participants receive a race day shirt and a finisher medal. On-course amenities include water stations and porta potties; free mobile lockers are available while supplies last. Registrants who sign up at least three weeks in advance can have their name printed on their bib; a bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text within about 90 seconds.
Awards include top three overall in Male, Female, and X divisions, top three in Male and Female age groups (17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), and a company award for most participation. Team registration options are offered, including pricing for groups of 15. Registration fees are non-refundable. A portion of net proceeds will be donated to a local community or educational program.
