Newstead 5K
The Newstead 5K is set for September 26, 2026 at the South Mountain Annex in South Orange, New Jersey. The main 5K course begins at the Annex and runs through the Newstead neighborhood. The event offers in person and virtual options and includes family oriented programming. 5K participants receive a race T shirt and a collapsible cup while supplies last. Strollers are allowed and pets are not permitted.

The Kids Fun Run follows the 5K and uses the closed road in front of the Annex. The Toddler Dash takes place on the lawn near the Annex. Registration fees listed for the 5K and virtual events are $30 and the Kids Fun Run has no fee. Kids Fun Run registration does not include a T shirt.
