BURT 100 : Bainbridge Island, WA (7 February 2026)
The event offers trail distances of:
- 55K
- 110K
- 100(ish) miles
The event takes place on Bainbridge Island and is organized as a series of trail laps. The primary loop is a 55 kilometer circuit that links public and some private trail networks on the island. For 2026, the course replaces 1.5 miles of road with new trail. The event is held annually in February.
Course, entries and partner
Registration proceeds (less Washington state tax, the registration platform fee, and event purchases such as flagging and food) are directed to the Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation Trails Fund. The foundation supports trail acquisition, planning, building and maintenance on the island.
Total field capacity for 2026 is capped at 65 runners. Current caps by distance are: 55K : 40 runners; 110K : 13 runners; 100M : 12 runners. All 100 mile entrants are vetted before acceptance; at present there are no open 100 mile spots. Volunteer opportunities are organized for periods before, on, and after the event.
