Electric Cookie Run
The Electric Cookie Run is a seasonal running event held at Green Lake Park in Seattle, WA on December 5th, 2026. Runners choose one or two laps around Green Lake; one loop is about 2.8 miles. The event provides a light up medal and cookies for every participant, and runners are encouraged to wear holiday attire.
Distances offered:
- 5K one lap around Green Lake
- 10K two laps around Green Lake
Packet pickup is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Bellevue and on race day at Road Runner Sports in Seattle. All parking for participants is on-street around Green Lake and carpooling is recommended. The event benefits Marys Place, a nonprofit that provides shelter and services for women, children and families.
Additional policies and amenities include nonrefundable registrations with options to defer or transfer entries, three porta-potties at the start and finish area, water available at the start and finish area and at the midpoint for 10K runners, no gear check, and no strollers allowed on course. Walkers are welcome. Dogs are not allowed to participate on the course but may be present at the start and finish areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
