About the race
The Winterfest 5K takes place at Wilmot Gateway Park on December 5, 2026. It is presented as a festive community run and walk that welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. The event offers a single measured distance: 5K, and participants may take part with children or with dogs.
Proceeds from the Winterfest 5K support the Forgotten Children’s Fund, which helps provide holiday gifts to local children and families. Event registration includes a race shirt for those who register by the early-bird deadline, a finishers medal, and a swag bag.
Registration pricing is tiered by age and by date. Early-bird rates apply for registrations by 11/16/26: $35 for participants age 16 and up and $20 for those age 15 and under. After the early-bird deadline the fees are $45 for age 16 and up and $35 for age 15 and under. Packet pickup and a post-race finisher celebration are part of the event day schedule.
Sponsors and community partners support the event. The Winterfest 5K is presented as a community-oriented activity connected to the broader Winterfest program in Woodinville. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
