Redmond Reindeer Romp
Redmond Reindeer Romp takes place December 5, 2026 at Redmond Watershed Preserve in Redmond, WA. It is the third event in the 2026–27 Winter Trail Series and offers two measured race options.
- 5-mile
- Half marathon - two laps of a 6.55 mile loop
The preserve features well groomed, relatively wide dirt trails with gently rolling hills and forests thick with fern. Course descriptions note low to moderate climbing and few steep sections. Elevation profiles are available for the 6.55 mile and 5 mile loops.
Aid support is provided for half marathon runners with two aid stations on course and food and hydration at the finish. Aid offerings include water, an electrolyte drink, gels, and one or two carbohydrate or salty foods such as candy or chips. Five mile runners do not have an on-course aid station.
Parking is offsite at The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge about two miles from the start, with shuttle service between the lot and the event. Carpools of three or more may park at the Redmond Watershed parking lot while space is available. Some street parking is also nearby.
The event includes a Winter Wonderland costume contest with individual and group categories. Pets are not allowed in the preserve and horseback riders may be encountered and have right of way. Runners under 20 are eligible for a youth discount on registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
