Burnley 10k & Juniors
The Burnley 10k & Juniors is a road closed race that runs through Burnley town centre and nearby parks, with the start and finish located at Turf Moor, home of Burnley Football Club. The main event is a single lap 10 km route, followed by a separate juniors race.
Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, post race goodies and a bag drop. Marshals, distance signs and arrows are positioned around the course, and an on course team provides guidance where routes diverge and rejoin. There is a water station approximately halfway along the course and a bottle of water at the finish.
The event is organised in support of Burnley FC In The Community and Pendleside Hospice. Race packs are posted to entrants in advance, while anyone who enters later can collect their pack at registration on the day. There is no participant parking at Turf Moor; public transport is recommended and Burnley Central and Burnley Manchester Road stations are within a 20 minute walk of the stadium.
An event village is provided with food and drink options and toilet facilities in the North Stand concourse. An optional event t shirt is available in sizes XS to XXL and is offered as an extra at checkout. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
