Burnin' Rubber 5K Run and Walk
The Burnin' Rubber 5K Run and Walk takes place at Owosso Speedway on July 28, 2026. The event uses a newly upgraded flat course that starts and finishes on the speedway track. Professional timing and official results are provided, and all finishers receive a specially designed finisher medal.
The program includes a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a Kids Lap that consists of one lap around the Owosso Speedway track. Age group awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each run division for both running and walking categories. Kids aged 12 and under may participate in the 5K at no charge; adult supervision is required for child participants.
Registration for the 5K Run and 5K Walk opens April 1, 2026, and closes June 30, 2026; the fee for those events is $40. Registration for the Kids Lap is open from April 1, 2026 through race day on July 28, 2026 and carries no fee. Packet pickup details will be announced.
