Ele's Race 5K Run/Walk takes place on July 18, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan at Jackson National Life Insurance Company, 1 Corporate Way, Lansing, MI 48951. The event benefits Ele's Place - Capital Region, which provides peer-to-peer grief support groups to children and teens (ages 3–18), young adults (ages 18–26), and any adult who brings a child. These bereavement support services are provided at no cost to families. The event is part of the Greater Lansing Area Race Series.

Logistics
Registration opens January 12, 2026. Fees listed for the events are $30 for the 5K and virtual 5K, $10 for the Kids Mile, and no fee for the Kids Dash. Registration closes on July 17, 2026. Packet pick-up is in person only at the Jackson National address on July 17 and July 18. Participants in the 5K and the Kids Mile receive a water bottle and a T-shirt; the Kids Dash registration does not include a T-shirt. Virtual participants receive T-shirt and bib by mail; water bottles are not shipped. Memory Hearts are available for purchase for $20, available at packet pick-up and at Ele's Place on specified dates; the heart sign can be mailed but not the stake.
