Burn The Bird - Fletcher
Burn The Bird is a non-competitive, non-timed 5K held in Fletcher on November 28, 2026. The in-person event takes place at Bill Moore Community Park (Fletch Park). A virtual option is also offered for participants who prefer to run remotely.
Both event options are listed as 5K and share the same registration fee of $40. Registration opens at different dates for each option and closes November 26, 2026. Non-local participants will have their bib and medal shipped. Local participants may pick up packets at Fleet Feet Asheville.
Packet pick-up in store at Fleet Feet Asheville is scheduled for Saturday November 21 from 11:00 to 17:00 and Sunday November 22 from 12:00 to 16:00. Last-minute packet pick-up on race day will be at the pavilion at the park from 10:00 to 11:00. The event fee includes a bib, medal, drinks, snacks, and a DJ.
